Partnership Capital

Partnership is in our DNA. We love building strong, productive relationships with ambitious management teams. When our capital and strategic input is combined with the expertise of the teams we back, there is no limit to what we can achieve together.

Through our Partnership Capital funds we invest alongside management teams who require capital to deliver on their personal and business objectives. Transactions can be driven by a range of circumstances, but often involve one or more of the following dynamics:

A desire to realign the business’s ownership structure, putting value in the hands of those creating it.

Organic growth plans which require external funding to deliver: geographic expansion, accelerated hiring or investment in product/service offerings.

Acquisitive growth requiring external funding and expertise to deliver.

Liquidity for shareholders who would like to partially de-risk and work alongside an investment partner to accelerate their growth ambitions.

Why MML?

Management teams choose to work with MML for out true partnership mindset. We build collaborative, supportive relationships with the leaders we back, working together through challenges and sharing in success.

We are a specialist, partnership investor. This means we are a minority shareholder in at least half the businesses in which we invest. Unlocking these deals requires an understanding and sensitivity to the objectives of the shareholders, and a creativity to structure a deal which delivers for all parties and maximises the alignment of interests.

Having invested in over 140 businesses over 30 years, we have deep experience of working alongside management teams to deliver value growth through accelerating investment plans and M&A.

It should be fun! At MML we relish the challenge of complex deal structuring and unlocking M&A opportunities, just as we enjoy spending time with the management teams we back …  and of course we love celebrating a good exit!
