What single piece of advice would you give an owner-manager contemplating private equity investment?

Demystify working with private equity! At MML we welcome a coffee (even a glass of wine) with owner-managers who are just beginning their journey of exploring private equity options. We do not need business plans or complex spreadsheets (or even a tie) to begin that dialogue. We enjoy nothing more than meeting managers who simply want to talk about the possibilities for their business.

What does a typical weekend look like?

Juggling the taxi service for my three children between tennis, football and increasingly “out with friends” engagements. If time allows, hitting a few golf balls (and hopefully not spending too much time looking for them afterwards!). Sundays is always family lunch prepared by the best cook in the world combined with watching Liverpool - hopefully winning!
