After graduating from the University of Durham, Rob qualified as a Chartered Accountant at EY. He then worked in EY’s mid market M&A team, before joining MML in 2010.

How would you describe the culture at MML?

Experienced, talented, and ambitious people, but importantly there is a huge emphasis on building strong relationships, low ego and integrity, and ensuring we enjoy what we do. It is an intense job, so this is critical

What do you most enjoy about being an investor?

Getting to work so closely with entrepreneurs and management teams to help build domestic and global leaders. There are always ups and downs, but it is incredibly exciting and a privileged position to be in.

Name five things you could not live without.

My wife and three kids.
Regular sport: Tennis, 5 aside football on a Tuesday night, poorly prepped triathlons, and the odd ropey game of village cricket.
Getting out on the water.
Hosting friends – I love cooking. Beef rendang is my go-to.
Curry (preferably a Lamb Bhuna).
