Whilst working alongside MML on their investments in Altius and Roboyo, not only was I drawn to MML's culture and highly personable team, but also how they approached the deals and manner in which they built relationships and trust with the management teams.
Whilst working in advisory it was always a pleasure to meet entrepreneurs and management teams, understand what made them tick and how their businesses succeed. While I enjoyed the advisory role, ultimately partnering with a small number of entrepreneurs and managers to build something special was where I saw my career progressing.
Usually, it would be something sport related - in an earlier life it would have involved playing rugby, however more recently the rugby pitch has been swapped for golf courses and tennis courts.
