After graduating from the University of Nottingham with a BSc Honours degree in Industrial Economics, Harry joined EY’s Assurance team where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He subsequently joined 8Advisory’s FDD team before starting at Alantra where he spent over three years in the M&A services team. Whilst at Alantra he worked alongside MML on our investments in Altius and Roboyo.

What do you think makes MML stand out?

What really makes MML stand out is the people. Everyone’s down to earth, there aren’t big egos, and it genuinely feels like a team-oriented environment, which is pretty rare in private equity. That supportive, collaborative culture also comes through in how we work with management teams, we’re true partners, not just owners of the business.

What do you most enjoy about being an investor?

Getting to work closely with entrepreneurs and management teams to help build really great businesses, it’s a pretty unique and exciting position to be in. I also love the variety and constant learning, seeing how different businesses operate and working with smart, driven people to tackle new challenges and make decisions along the way.

What does life look like when you leave the office?

Spending time with my friends and young family, and trying to squeeze in a bit of sport whenever I can.
