What do you think makes MML stand out?

We are a small but driven team, who understand the importance of relationships both within MML itself and everyone we work with outside of MML. I think our strong firm culture and focused work ethic is clearly evident within all the work we do.

When did you first think about working within the private equity industry?

I first considered private equity when working for a wealth management firm. This was my first insight into the financial world and whilst private client work has its upsides, what really interested me is the creation and evolution of innovative businesses. This was cemented further during my time at Bird & Bird working with the venture capital and private equity teams and encouraged me to make the move.

Do you think being a female brings different opportunities / insights?

Definitely! I think it brings a new approach to situations and new solutions to the problems. I think it is inspiring to work within a company with so many driven and insightful women contributing to the success of the firm.

What does life look like when you leave the office?

Life outside the office revolves around escaping the city for breaks to Devon and Europe, making my way through a never-ending stack of books and contributing to excessive amounts of Ottolenghi style dinners.
