Annabelle holds an MSc in Sustainability and Management from Royal Holloway and a BA in Geography from the University of Exeter. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant at PwC, before gaining experience in impact investing and ESG at Big Society Capital and Aurum Research. She is now part of MML's Investor Relations team.

What most attracted you to joining the MML team?

Coming from a background in finance, ESG and impact investment, I was drawn to MML's partnership-led approach and its reputation for combining strategic growth with responsible investment.

How did your career path bring you to work for a private equity house?

I started my career at PwC auditing asset and wealth management businesses, where I qualified as a Chartered Accountant and gained a strong foundation in financial reporting and stakeholder communication. I then moved into ESG and impact-focused roles, where I worked closely with investors and fund managers. That mix of analytical, sustainability and relationship-building experience naturally led me to an investor relations role in private equity.

What has been your greatest life adventure?

Taking a year out to travel - mostly through Central and South America - has been my greatest adventure to date. Exploring the Galápagos Islands was my personal highlight!
