Waste Vision, the European leader in smart waste management technology for municipalities and a portfolio company of MML Keystone, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Incitat Environment, a specialist in access-control and incentive-based waste-tariff solutions in the French environmental services sector. Together, Waste Vision and Incitat now form the largest smart waste-technology platforms serving French municipalities. The acquisition of Incitat marks a key milestone in Waste Vision’s international growth strategy and underscores its commitment to innovation-led, sustainable waste management across Europe.
Under this partnership, Incitat Environment will integrate Waste Vision’s technological solutions, from smart access and fill-level sensors to AI-driven logistics optimisation and asset-management software, into its service offering for municipal waste operations throughout France. By combining Incitat’s local market access and service capabilities with Waste Vision’s technology platform, the partnership is designed to tackle the operational and environmental pressures faced by French waste-management operators, delivering improved efficiency, stronger sustainability outcomes and better data-driven decision-making. This is particularly relevant as France rolls out incentive-based household waste tariffs, which link bills to the volume of residual waste produced and encourage higher recycling and lower costs for communities.
Tim Blömer, CEO of Waste Vision, said:
“Partnering with Incitat Environment, a company that shares our ambition for a cleaner,
smarter, more sustainable future, is a major step forward. This alliance strengthens our
footprint in the French market and accelerates our mission to bring best-in-class smart
waste solutions to partners across Europe.”
Rémi Martinez, Director of Production & Logistics at Incitat Environment, added:
“Partnering with Waste Vision allows us to significantly enhance the services we deliver
to our customers. Their innovative technologies align perfectly with our ambition to
modernize waste management in France.”
Sharand Maharaj, co-Managing Partner of MML Keystone, commented:
“This partnership brings together Europe’s leading smart waste platform with France’s reference specialist in access-control and incentive-tariff solutions. Waste Vision contributes a proven European software and sensor suite; Incitat adds deep local relationships and on-the-ground execution in France. For municipalities, that means a single, data-rich technology spine for their waste systems at a time when regulation and economics are accelerating the shift to smart, incentive-based collection. For MML Keystone, it is a clear example of the essential, asset-backed businesses we seek to back in the circular economy, and we see significant opportunity to keep investing behind this growth.”
MML Keystone invests in essential, asset-backed businesses with infrastructure fundamentals and secular tailwinds such as the circular economy and digitalisation, both of which are epitomised in Waste Vision.
