Prior to joining Instant, Tim spent 10 years at Global Outsourcing firm Williams Lea. He held a variety of senior positions within the business, including CEO of Williams Lea’s international office between 2008 and 2010, and from 2010 to 2013 as CEO of the Americas, based in New York, where he developed and led an $800m turnover business that employs 3,500 staff.
Rodber joined Williams Lea following the sale of London based marketing and communications company Rodber Thorneycroft Ltd which he jointly established.
Rodber is also a successful sportsman, and played professional rugby for Northampton Saints, England and the British and Irish Lions.
Clive Williams, Instant’s Non-Executive Chairman, said that the Board selected Rodber based on his track record of building and leading organisations, as well as his strong executive and personal qualities.
“We are excited Tim has joined Instant and confident that his local and global expertise within the outsourcing space makes him the right person to lead and continue to grow our highly successful business. As companies increasingly recognise the efficiencies of outsourcing non-core services, we expect that Instant, and particularly our Managed Office solution, will increasingly be viewed as an attractive route to procuring office space. This area has seen a doubling of business in the last 12 months. »
Luke Jones of MML added,
“Tim’s experience in the outsourcing sector and his undoubted leadership skills will help us achieve our strong growth aims.”
“Instant’s management team has achieved huge success to date, building a strong brand and culture. I look forward to leading Instant through its next phase of growth and am hugely optimistic of the opportunities that lie ahead.”
