First and foremost, without a doubt, are the people and the culture. I had the opportunity to work with the team before, and what stood out immediately was how approachable and grounded everyone was - it genuinely felt like a close-knit family. Being part of a high-performing team that values collaboration and is led by inspiring leadership made it an easy decision. It just felt like the right place where I can make a real impact and grow alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and forward-looking environment.
So far, moving to Jersey in the Channel Islands for a job opportunity - a small British island off the coast of north-west France after spending my life as a total city girl. I traded traffic, boba shops on every corner, tall skyscrapers and constant background noise for quiet nights, where shops are shut by 5PM, never being too far from a beach and very hangry seagulls. I didn't know anyone, and the pace of life was completely different from what I was used to. It was a big change, but it taught me how to adapt, be resourceful, and the value of building meaningful connections - lessons that continue to shape how I approach both life and work. Looking back, it was one of the most rewarding decisions I've ever made and that has led me to where I am today.
