As Office Manager there is no such thing as a typical day. I can be doing anything from sourcing a new supplier, sorting out IT issues, organising investor meetings, or changing a lightbulb! The variety is what makes the job interesting, and it always keeps me on my toes.
In 2007 I took a trip around the world. Part of that trip involved travelling across North-Western Australia through the Kimberley on the Gibb River Road. It is a beautiful part of the world not seen by many as it is only accessible in the “dry” season. There was no mobile signal, so our guide had to carry a satellite phone, snake bite anti-venom and a shotgun! We camped every night and hiked parts of the Kimberley, including the Bungle Bungles during the day. It was a chance to really switch off from the “real” world and focus on the landscape around me.
