What most attracted you to joining the MML team?

Having gained experience working across private equity and infrastructure, I felt drawn to MML's focus on distributed infrastructure, which aims to find investments that deliver not only financial returns but also address essential social infrastructure needs. This, combined with MML's entrepreneurial spirit and a great team, which I met individually during the process, confirmed my view that MML is the right place for me.

What do you most enjoy about being an investor?

Much of what I do involves working on a variety of workstreams at once whilst adopting an entrepreneurial mindset, seeing the bigger picture, and evaluating an investment's future profitability. These are all tasks I enjoy working on, and no day is like any other, making each day exciting.

What has been your greatest life adventure?

I moved to Northeast China at the age of 15 to learn Mandarin and attend Chinese school while living with a host family for a year. My time there marked one of my biggest adventures, and I am happy to look back on it.
