What most attracted you to joining the MML team?

The focus on partnership really resonates with me. I love meeting and interacting with people and truly value the relationships I develop. Since my first interaction with the MML team, I could tell that partnership wasn’t just something the team preaches but lives on a day-to-day basis. Being able to work as a team alongside some of the brightest investors and management teams towards a common goal truly excites me and it’s just good business.

What most attracted you to work in mid-market private equity?

The mid-market provides unmatched opportunities to learn from and work with founders and management teams that have a deep connection with their respective companies. Hearing about the origins of a company and the trials and tribulations of developing and growing the business provide invaluable insight. This knowledge helps us to be a true partner and catalyst for the company in achieving their overall growth goals. Being a part of a business and seeing genuine reactions from our partners after they have reached their goals is incredibly fulfilling.

Name five things you could not live without.

  1. My family and friends (who are basically family)
  2. Delicious food. My love language is soup dumplings and hot chili oil
  3. Music. I love all genres but have a special affinity for classic rock, 90’s hip hop / R&B, and deep house music
  4. A good sweat.
  5. Travel. I try to visit a new state or country every year
