What is it like to work for MML?

It is a brilliant job. We have a hands-on and tight knit team who are enthusiastic about what we do – working alongside management teams to drive growth in their businesses. I like to think we enjoy life outside of work too!

What do you look for in an investment?

We look to find situations where there is a great management team with an exciting vision for their business who need a strategic partner to help them unlock or enhance it. We really focus on building a relationship with management and creating a bespoke investment structure to address their key objectives. That includes ensuring incentives are in place for those driving value in the business and often providing growth capital to support acquisitions, international expansion, or other strategic initiatives.

Where would you like to work, if not private equity?

Like many, I would like to be a professional sportsman or rockstar, but a good substitute may be the events sector. I would really enjoy bringing different people together to create an atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

“Harri added significant momentum to the deal and really drove the process, in particular getting to grips with the more complex areas of Veezu. That helped to soften the demands on our team with whom he has built a strong relationship. It’s been great having his support to help with acquisitions and get stuck into other strategic initiatives.”
