{"id":2084,"date":"2021-07-01T07:06:00","date_gmt":"2021-07-01T07:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mmlcapital.com\/?p=2084"},"modified":"2021-09-15T09:51:05","modified_gmt":"2021-09-15T08:51:05","slug":"mml-capital-breaks-through-its-hard-cap-with-fund-vii-raising-e670-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mmlcapital.com\/fr\/mml-updates\/mml-capital-breaks-through-its-hard-cap-with-fund-vii-raising-e670-million\/","title":{"rendered":"MML Capital breaks through its hard-cap with Fund VII, raising \u20ac670 million"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The business has completed a series of successful new deals and exits over previous funds.<\/li><li>This announcement follows hot on the heels of the final closing of MML Ireland Growth Capital II, which also broke through the target raise.<\/li><li>Under the stewardship of co-CEOs, Bal Johal and Ian Wallis, the business is set for further expansion.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>MML Fund VII (the \u201cFund\u201d) is MML\u2019s largest vehicle to date. The firm will continue with its strategy of backing owner-managers in European and US mid-market businesses to assist with growth and international ambitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>The Fund, which was raised in large part virtually, closed well above its \u20ac550 million target as a result of global investor appetite.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>MML Fund VII has already made seven new platform investments, including StoneTurn (US), Western Global (UK) and GDI (France).<\/li><li>The Fund received commitments from circa 35 investors, both from MML\u2019s existing investor base and new LPs. These included a range of institutional investors, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies and family offices across the globe.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bal Johal, co-CEO at MML Capital, said: <\/h6>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cWe are very excited about continuing the expansion of MML\u2019s \u201ctailored investments\u201d strategy, which has proven to be resilient through the cycles.
